EUGENE, Ore. – PeaceHealth is excited to welcome the world to Eugene for the World Athletics Championships Oregon22, July 15–24.
As the event’s Official Healthcare Supplier, PeaceHealth will support medical tents for athletes, staff, volunteers and spectators. Dr. Hans Notenboom, PeaceHealth emergency medicine physician, is the event’s medical director, and nearly 40 PeaceHealth registered nurses will volunteer their time and expertise in the medical tents during the 10-day event.

Wade will not impact patient care at PeaceHealth, as direct abortion is not performed in any location owned, leased or operated as a PeaceHealth facility. EUGENE, Ore. – PeaceHealth is excited to announce that The Coeta and Donald Barker Foundation has contributed $100,000 to start an endowment, which will enable more patients in financial need to benefit from scholarships to the Supervised Exercise Program at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend.
The Coeta and Donald Barker Foundation will give an additional $50,000 in matching funds if the PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation successfully raises another $50,000 from the community.
BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Since the outbreak of COVID-19, there have been significant shortages of infant formulas in some stores. Current shortages have been largely caused by supply chain issues and a recall of several contaminated baby formula products. The local PeaceHealth primary care teams have been following this problem and working to identify regional resources for families.
SPRINGFIELD, Ore.- What if kids were not scared to go to the hospital? What if parents had someone to stand beside them to offer emotional support during a stressful time?
Those are the goals of PeaceHealth’s Child Life Specialist program and, with a significant donation from the OCCU Foundation, the program will be expanded to help even more children and families in the future.
OCCU Foundation has pledged to support the position for three years with a $300,000 donation. The contribution is a lead gift to PeaceHealth’s $1 million fundraising campaign.

The list, compiled and published by Newsweek, is based on three data sources: a nationwide online survey of healthcare professionals, publicly available medical key performance indicators including data from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and results from patient surveys.
