Medical staff encourages women to schedule their mammogram or screening today
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The National Breast Cancer Foundation reports that one in eight women will be diagnosed in her lifetime, which equals 1,048 every day in 2026. Locally, PeaceHealth United General Medical Center in Sedro-Woolley is working to raise awareness, driving women to action through regular mammograms and screenings.
