New heart valve gets Kermit back on the court in two months

More than five million Americans are diagnosed with heart valve disease each year. Kermit, a patient who had the traditional open chest valve replacement surgery 14 years ago, and more recently the minimally invasive TAVR® (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) surgery. He was back to playing racquetball two months later.
