Choices in childbirth  

You can plan your care to fit your needs or preferences. Your care team may include specialists in midwifery, high-risk pregnancy, newborn (neonatal) care or breastfeeding.  When it comes to labor and delivery, you can work with your doctor on how you’d like your birth plan to go — from natural with no medications to pain-relieving epidural anesthesia. Plus, birth doulas are welcome.  

Special care nurseries 

Some locations have a neonatal intensive care unit or special care nursery to help babies born early or with certain medical concerns.
