Community invited to open house on Jan. 31

LONGVIEW, Wash. – PeaceHealth is proud to announce the opening of the PeaceHealth Richard Nau Hospice House. The facility located at 1035 11th Avenue in Longview was previously operated by Community Home Health and Hospice.

”We are honored and grateful that Community Home Health and Hospice selected PeaceHealth as their preferred partner to carry on their long-standing reputation of providing excellent hospice care in the community, preserving the legacy they have built over the last 45 years,” says Cherelle Montanye, PeaceHealth St. John’s Chief Administrative Officer.

In celebration of the reopening of the hospice house that has undergone some facility enhancements during its closure, the public is invited to an open house on Wednesday, Jan. 31 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Community members are invited to stop by any time during the two hours to meet the care team and tour the facility.

PeaceHealth is committed to ensuring that future patients and their loved ones experience dignified, exemplary care and compassion delivered by the care team at the PeaceHealth Richard Nau Hospice House.

“Our dedicated, around-the-clock care team is ready to provide a warm, calming place for patients and their loved ones at end of life,” says Gurpreet Dhillon, Hospice Director for PeaceHealth. “We recognize how important hospice care is to the community.”

The first patients will be welcomed to the PeaceHealth Richard Nau Hospice House starting on Monday, Feb. 5.
