During your stay

The facility offers an atmosphere of quiet, simplicity, warmth and healing that makes all who come feel welcome and comfortable.
If you ever have questions about a procedure, your physician, medication, or anything about your stay at PeaceHealth Peace Island, please ask! We want you to be informed, comfortable, and clearly understand your care.
Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. The hospital provides nutritious meals that are made according to your doctor’s orders. Your meal has been chosen according to the prescribed diet order and can be changed to meet your food preferences.
Coordination of off-Island care
When necessary, our physicians may refer you to outside providers, facilities or visiting specialists for services not available on Island. It's our goal to ensure each member of your health care team is working together on your care plan and we will help facilitate this collaboration.
If you require any service that's not currently offered at PeaceHealth Peace Island, consult with your physician for help with a referral to an appropriate mainland hospital.
Some online records, including medications, test results, and procedures, are available in your MyPeaceHealth account, free of charge. Please visit the medical records page for other request options.
Advance care planning
Sharing your wishes for the care you want if you are critically ill can bring you closer to the people you love. Making your wishes known clearly in advance of a crisis is one of the biggest gifts you can give yourself, your family and friends.
Balance billing protection
When you get emergency care or get treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, you are protected from surprise billing or balance billing.
