Friday Harbor's remote location and comparatively small population makes it difficult to offer every specialized medical service and procedure at all times. PeaceHealth's visiting clinics provide a variety of specialty services from cardiology to orthopedics and more. General outpatient surgeries are also available and new specialists are recruited based on the needs of Islanders.

We bring highly-trained, specialized physicians from other regions in PeaceHealth to Friday Harbor regularly. We benefit from their experience and specialized training without the burden of maintaining full-time staffs and facilities for less than a full-time need.
