Recipe: Fruity kabobs

Making these kabobs might be as much fun as eating them.
Who can resist angel food cake? You can enlist the help of your younger kitchen hands to enjoy the process of putting the kabobs together. This sweet treat will hit the spot as dessert or a midday snack.

Ingredients:
- 1 12-ounce loaf of angel food cake cut into 48 pieces
- Fresh fruit of choice (strawberries, grapes, pineapple, banana, peaches, etc.)
- 24 wooden skewers
Directions:
Assemble 2 cubes of angel food cake and desired fruit on wooden skewer; alternating between fruit and cake. If desired, you can sprinkle cake &/or fruit with cinnamon.
Serve immediately.
