Healthy and delicious side dish.
Keep your oven space free with this sauteed spinach recipe. Lemon adds a lovely touch of bright flavor to the earthy spinach.
Serves 4
Heat a skillet over medium-low with a little olive oil. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add spinach and season with salt, pepper, red chili flakes (if using), and lemon juice and sauté the spinach for 2-3 minutes over medium-low, until wilted. Adjust seasoning if needed. Add a sprinkle of parmesan if you like, optional.
Serve immediately. You can add an extra splash of lemon juice and sprinkle with optional grated parmesan over the spinach before serving.
