VANCOUVER, Wash. – Ardon Health, Emerging Health and PeaceHealth announced they are partnering to deliver better care, bringing together more parts of the healthcare ecosystem in support of great experiences and excellent outcomes for patients.

This innovative partnership with pharmacy services companies is designed to address the needs in how medical therapies are delivered throughout a patient’s health journey.

For example, Ardon Health’s and Emerging Health’s pharmacy services will engage with PeaceHealth clinicians at diagnosis and when medical therapies are considered. This ensures patients have the benefit of multiple perspectives and the latest information earlier in their journey. Additionally, nurses, clinicians and pharmacists will work hand in hand with patients across more touchpoints as treatment progresses. This ensures coordinated monitoring of therapies and better outcomes.

“At Ardon and Emerging Health, we believe there's always a better way,” said Chandra Wahrgren, a founding member of Ardon Health and senior vice president of corporate pharmacy enterprise and innovation at Moda Partners. “We know communities benefit when leading organizations work together. That’s why we’re so pleased to join PeaceHealth in a partnership that's rooted in compassionate patient-centered care. By bringing together the clinical expertise of our teams, we can expand our reach, offer personalized care, inspire hope and improve the quality of life for every patient we serve.”

Existing PeaceHealth patients do not need to do anything additional to benefit from this partnership. Patients who need specialty pharmacy services (typically accompanying complex treatments) or infusion services, and whose insurance plans permit them to choose where those services are received, will be offered the option to receive the services through Ardon Health (specialty pharmacy) or Emerging Health (infusion), as applicable for their community.

“The Pacific Northwest has always been a place where pioneering ideas take root, and this is another example of the innovation that began with our founding Sisters in 1890,” said Mike Dwyer, executive vice president of strategy and community health at PeaceHealth “At every step of the journey since then, PeaceHealth has sought to improve how we care for those that need it most. Patients using specialty therapies and infusions are some of the most vulnerable in healthcare, and this partnership is a truly unique way of ensuring they receive excellent, collaborative care.”
