Bargaining updates

Below are the messages shared with PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center caregivers represented by AaNA.

Bargaining update for Oct. 15, 2026

On Oct. 13 and 14, we held bargaining sessions with Alaska Nurses Association (AaNA) as we work toward an agreement on a contract for nurses at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center.

AaNA presented its initial proposals and PeaceHealth focused on listening and understanding.

PeaceHealth appreciated the respectful and productive discussion and AaNA’s engagement.

We reached two tentative agreements on equality of employment opportunities and grievance procedure, along with several other points of agreement.

We recognize how important this contract is to you, and we pledge to bargain in good faith as we work toward an agreement. We look forward to continuing these constructive conversations at our next bargaining session on Oct. 20.

We are committed to keeping you informed throughout the process and will continue to provide regular updates. We have created a new Collective Bargaining website, peacehealth.org/collective-bargaining, where you can always find the latest information.

As always, we appreciate your dedication and professionalism, and your ongoing commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.

If you have questions, please contact your supervisor or a member of the PeaceHealth bargaining team.
