Childbirth Center

Our care during the COVID-19 pandemic

COVID-19 has changed the realities that surround us, and we understand that you may feel apprehensive about giving birth during this unprecedented time. We ask that you read our important letter about keeping you, your family and your newborn safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

A message from Gallit Eni, MSN, manager of the Childbirth Center

We offer these resources from the Washington State Department of Health if you are concerned about having a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19:

Our commitment to you

As a new parent, there is nothing more miraculous than the birth of your baby.

At PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, we strive to make this miracle a family-centered event. You and your family will enjoy closeness and privacy during your entire stay. To encourage the bonding of your family, your partner/coach will be invited to stay with you and your baby.

Our Childbirth Center is designed to ensure that we are providing the safest care and environment for you and your growing family.

What to Expect

Whether you're rushing to our Childbirth Center during the final stages of labor or calmly arriving for a scheduled procedure, our team is prepared to help welcome your little miracle into this world. The day your baby is born will create lasting memories and provide you with stories that you'll share for years to come.

We want to be a part of those stories.

We are partners in your birth experience and are here to assist you in being prepared and informed. Our family-centered approach to care provides a nurturing environment for growing families.
