Mom and Baby

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is restricting visitor access until COVID-19 is no longer considered a public health threat. We are taking this measure out of an abundance of caution.

Currently, no children are allowed. We are asking all visitors remain inside the secure birth center and not visit the main hospital. Room service will provide meals.

Visitor restrictions:

  • Family Birth Center: Only one (1) support person who is designated for the entire patient stay.
  • NICU: Parents or designated support person. They must be identified with a white band.
  • Pediatrics: Parents or designated support person only.

If a patient is suspected (under investigation) or positive COVID-19, additional guidelines will be in place.

We understand you may be concerned about COVID-19 and its possible impact on the hospital and your upcoming birthing experience. Please be assured we are taking multiple precautions to keep you, your family and your newborn safe.
