PazSalud

El Salvador Health Mission

Medical care through volunteers from PeaceHealth and
the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace

In our health missions and through our ongoing presence in El Salvador, our teams provide health care for people with very limited resources. In our missions our PeaceHealth and Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace team members experience the joy of direct, hands-on care-giving and learn about the realities of life and health in Central America.

  • About Us

PazSalud is an international medical mission jointly founded by PeaceHealth and the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace (CSJP).  It was designed to be an opportunity for their caregivers and members to volunteer in delivering health care services to underprivileged people in El Salvador.

  • Our Work

PazSalud was created to utilize the gifts of the PeaeHealth health care system to improve the lives of Salvadorans who live in poverty. In our medical missions and through our ongoing presence in El Salvador, our teams provide free health care for people with very limited resources.

  • Volunteer Center

Volunteers are the backbone of PazSalud missions and without their dedication and generosity, our work would be impossible. Since its founding in 2000, PazSalud has had more than 550 PeaceHealth caregivers, Sisters and associates of CSJP, and other specialty providers volunteer to make PazSalud the program we are today.
