The pharmacists of PeaceHealth Southwest are actively involved in the training and mentoring of our pharmacy residents. The resident’s contributions to the improvement and advancement of pharmacy practice at PHSW are highly valued by the entire pharmacy staff. Our department strives to make our residents feel that they are part of our team from day one of residency.

Many of our pharmacists are graduates of the PHSW residency program and have an in-depth understanding of the requirements of the program. In addition to working with preceptors on rotation, each resident will have a primary preceptor assigned to them for the year to help guide them through residency. Residents and preceptors are matched based on areas of interest.
