PeaceHealth names Heather McEvoy Chief Philanthropy Officer for Vancouver and Longview communities

VANCOUVER, Wash. — PeaceHealth has named Heather McEvoy, MBA, as Chief Philanthropy Officer for its Vancouver and Longview communities.
In this leadership role, McEvoy will lead philanthropy strategy and operations for PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Foundation and PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center Foundation. She will work closely with foundation boards, executive leaders, clinicians, caregivers, community partners and donors to advance philanthropic priorities that strengthen care for patients and families across Southwest Washington.
“Heather brings a powerful combination of strategic fundraising experience, community understanding and Mission-centered leadership,” shared Anne Rasmussen, System Vice President, Chief Philanthropy Officer. “Her ability to build trusted partnerships with boards, donors, clinicians and caregivers will help PeaceHealth continue advancing philanthropic support for the needs of our Vancouver and Longview communities.”
McEvoy is an accomplished philanthropy leader with more than 25 years of experience leading major and principal gift programs, comprehensive campaigns, corporate and foundation relations, donor engagement strategies and high-performing teams across healthcare and education. Since joining PeaceHealth, she has served as Director of Philanthropy for PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Foundation, helping lead and support donor engagement, campaign strategy and philanthropic priorities across the community.
Her leadership has contributed to the success of Healthcare Reimagined, a comprehensive campaign that raised over $74 million and exceeded its goal by nearly 20 percent. In her PeaceHealth role, she has also strengthened partnerships with executives, clinicians, caregivers, foundation board members and donors to advance shared priorities.

McEvoy holds a Master of Business Administration from George Fox University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University. Her career includes philanthropy and advancement leadership roles with Portland State University Foundation, Legacy Health/Randall Children’s Hospital Foundation, OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation and La Salle Catholic College Preparatory.
