Hannah Flores, DO, joins PeaceHealth Infectious Disease team in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, Wash. –Hannah Flores, DO, has joined PeaceHealth’s Infectious Disease Clinic at the Marble Building in Bellingham.
Dr. Flores earned her medical degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, where she graduated with Sigma Sigma Phi honors. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa and an infectious disease fellowship at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. As chief fellow in the infectious disease program, she worked closely with trainees and faculty on conflict resolution, wellness initiatives and advocacy.
She has a special interest in global health and tropical medicine, and completed a tropical medicine training course in Vellore, India, and a month-long rotation in Lusaka, Zambia. She also participated in medical missions in the Dominican Republic and Kenya.
Dr. Flores sees each patient as uniquely qualified and capable of contributing to their care. “As such, I approach each patient as a partner in their care and aim to formulate a treatment plan that best suits their individual needs,” she said.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring nature, traveling, biking and spending time with her dog.
