Joanna Pluta, MD, joins Internal Medicine at PeaceHealth Cordata Main

BELLINGHAM, Wash. –Joanna Pluta, MD, has joined the Internal Medicine team at PeaceHealth Cordata Main Clinic in Bellingham.
She completed her internal medicine residency at the Marshfield Clinic at the Ministry St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin after receiving her medical degree from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland.
Dr. Pluta is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Society of General Internal Medicine. She previously practiced as an outpatient primary care internist in Maine.
Dr. Pluta earned her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C. During this time, she worked as a clinical trial advisor at the Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Clinic in Abbotsford, B.C., where she remained until the completion of her pre-medical program at Langara College in Vancouver, B.C.
Outside of work, Dr. Pluta enjoys playing the piano, cooking, attending the theater, skiing, cycling, tennis and being outdoors. She is fluent in English and Polish and conversational in German and French.
