PeaceHealth Family Medicine hosting flu shot clinics in October

FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. – The PeaceHealth Peace Island Family Practice clinic has scheduled a series of flu shot clinics this month for individuals aged six months or older.
Remaining clinics are open to both established and non-established patients. The clinics run from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the clinic lobby conference room. Patients must make an appointment in advance by calling 360-378-1756.
Clinics are planned for the following dates:
- Wednesday, Oct. 22
- Wednesday, Oct. 29
The clinics will be held in the conference room next to the main lobby, inside the hospital at 1117 Spring St. in Friday Harbor.
Family Medicine has regular flu vaccine as well as the high-dose vaccine for people 65 and over. Patients with egg allergies can request the egg-free FluBlok vaccine at registration.
Patients also have the option of getting the vaccine at their next primary care provider visit.
Please note: PeaceHealth is not currently offering either the COVID-19 or RSV vaccine. Please check with Friday Harbor Drug or another area pharmacy for availability.
