FLORENCE, Ore. – PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center is pleased to welcome Lisa Wood MSN, RN, to the role of Director of Nursing for Surgical Services at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center. Her first day will be Sunday, March 24.

Lisa comes to Peace Harbor from PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend and has worked on and off for PeaceHealth for over 20 years as a post-open PCU/CSU, operating room Scrub and Circulator, Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, and OrthoMed Inpatient Nurse Manager.

Ruth Franke, VP Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center, says, “I have personally watched Lisa grow in her leadership skill and acumen. She is a caring, fair, hardworking leader who wouldn’t ask anyone to do anything she isn’t ready to do herself. She is a servant leader and wants to help our community and surgical services, continuing excellence in surgical care here at Peace Harbor, while focusing on the caregivers and providers.”

Lisa is married to her husband of 24 years, Jeff, and together they have three amazing children and one grandson. Outside of work, Lisa co-leads a surgical mission trip every January to the Dominican Republic and recently completed her 7th trip. She also loves to hike, ride horses, enjoy the dunes, and garden. Lisa says, “I am very excited to meet the team at Peace Harbor and work with them to better understand the needs of the community, the hospital, and how I can help support them.”
