The birth of a baby is one of the most important events in a woman’s life. At PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, we have created a special place to take good care of you and your baby — before, during and after birth.

Our Childbirth Services are located on the fifth floor of PeaceHealth Sacred Heart at RiverBend. Our unit was designed to give you a memorable, safe birth experience tailored to your wishes. You and your family will receive our staff’s personal attention and the best medical care available.

Safe Haven for Newborns

If you can't care for a new baby, you have options. Oregon’s Safe Haven law lets parents bring a healthy infant to any PeaceHealth hospital within 60 days of birth.

You can leave your newborn with any doctor, nurse or qualified staff member — no questions asked and no names required. This choice is legal and confidential.
