Recipe: Cranberry Mocktail

This iced alcohol-free drink can wake up your tastebuds.

Here's a refreshing mocktail loaded with antioxidants that can improve blood pressure and lower cholesterol. (Note: If you're taking a blood thinner, talk with your doctor. The vitamin K in cranberries can interfere with that medication.)

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 ounces cranberry juice, 100% juice, unsweetened preferred
  • ½ ounce fresh lime juice
  • 6.8 oz bottle light ginger beer
  • lime slice, fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs (for garnish) 

Directions

  • Fill a mug or festive glass with ice.
  • Add cranberry juice, ginger beer and lime juice. Stir gently to blend the flavors.
  • Add a sprig of rosemary and a few cranberries to add finishing touches.
