Recipe: Cranberry Mocktail

This iced alcohol-free drink can wake up your tastebuds.
Here's a refreshing mocktail loaded with antioxidants that can improve blood pressure and lower cholesterol. (Note: If you're taking a blood thinner, talk with your doctor. The vitamin K in cranberries can interfere with that medication.)
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- 2 ounces cranberry juice, 100% juice, unsweetened preferred
- ½ ounce fresh lime juice
- 6.8 oz bottle light ginger beer
- lime slice, fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
Directions
- Fill a mug or festive glass with ice.
- Add cranberry juice, ginger beer and lime juice. Stir gently to blend the flavors.
- Add a sprig of rosemary and a few cranberries to add finishing touches.
