New emergency medicine provider joins PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center

FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. — PeaceHealth welcomes a new emergency medicine provider to PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center:

Krishnaraj “Raj” Jayarama, DO.  Dr. Jayarama earned his degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He completed an Internship in Emergency Medicine at Union Hospital in Union, New Jersey and an Ultrasound Fellowship at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to joining the emergency medicine team at Peace Island Medical Center, Dr. Jayarama worked at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Before that he served as assistant medical director at Memorial Hermann in Katy, Texas. Dr. Jayarama shares, “I enjoy the thrill of the ER along with the fact that I can help others in their time of greatest need.”
