Donate in Honor of Dr. John Kaiser

After graduating from medical school at University of Wisconsin Madison in 1982 and completing a residency in Family medicine in Harrisburg, PA in 1985, my first practice was with Mid-Columbia Family Physicians in White Salmon, WA. My wife returned to school for a PsyD in psychology at Pacific University and it was time to move.

I was recruited by Dr. Ruiz to join Family Physicians group in Vancouver in 1995, the group founded by Drs. Corlett, Park, Seacat and Munger. Initially we practiced out of the Medco building on 33rd and Main, then moved to the Memorial health center, then to an office in The Vancouver Clinic in Salmon Creek, then to the Fishers landing office and finally to the 87th Ave office. In 2010 we joined with PeaceHealth and became PeaceHealth Family Medicine.

The part of medicine 1 will miss the most is the personal relationships with my patients, some I have known almost 40 years. Finding new doctors for my patients has been like adopting out my kids! I would like each of my patients to know it has been an honor and a privilege to know them and to have been their family physician.

Sincerely,
John Kaiser, MD
