Program Schedule

Applications for both programs are accepted on a rolling basis, with decisions made and acceptance letters sent two months prior to the start date.

Fall Extended Unit/Spring Extended Unit

An extended unit runs 16 weeks (Fall Unit: late August until mid-December; Spring Unit: early January to early May) with one day of class for 7 hours with a lunch break.  Usually, the clinical time involves two 8 hr shifts one week and three the next. Clinical time will include weekdays and weekends, day and evening shifts.  The unit starts with four days of orientation to PeaceHealth and the hospital or hospice.  The pattern of your clinical assignments will be set in consultation with you.

Summer Intensive Unit

The Summer Unit is 11 weeks long and is full-time (40 hours/week). It begins in early June and ends in mid-August.
