How to Apply
Application process: Southwest Medical Center
- Submit a completed ACPE application along with the $50 application fee to: Rev. Connie Bonner, Spiritual Care, Manager Clinical Pastoral Education, 400 NE Mother Joseph Place, Vancouver, WA 98664
- With your application, include a letter describing your interest in taking CPE and a current transcript (if applicable).
- Send the reference form to the three references you named on your application.
- Upon invitation, be interviewed by CPE Educator and/or admissions committee. If offered a position into the program, you will need to respond with your formal acceptance along with a $100 non-refundable deposit fee to guarantee placement
- The $500 balance for tuition is due the first week of the program
- Total fees and tuition for one unit (400 hours) of ACPE is $650
Admission requirements
- Completion of high school, preferred at least one year in formal theological training.
- Faith group identification and affiliation (can be one of your reference letters)
Students are selected based on their willingness to learn, their ability to function as spiritual caregivers and their contribution to the diversity and richness of the peer group.
