The clinic offers the following classes, which are taught by our certified diabetes educator nursing and dietitian staff.
Type 2 Diabetes Education Class
Classes are available to individuals with type 2 diabetes who have a doctor referral. The class covers: healthy eating; being active; monitoring blood glucose levels, including problem solving for high and low blood glucose numbers; taking and understanding medications; reducing risks; and healthy coping.
- When: Classes meet once per week for four weeks in a row on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon or Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We occasionally offer evening or off-site classes. Contact us for scheduled dates.
- Location: Lower level conference room at Cordata Main (4545 Cordata Parkway)
- Cost: There is a cost to participate, which may be covered by insurance. Individuals who meet the financial need requirements may be eligible to participate for free or at a reduced cost (click here to learn more about PeaceHealth's Bridge Assistance program).

PeaceHealth Diabetes Answers
This monthly support group is free. A certified diabetes instructor moderates each session and topics vary depending on participant needs.
When: Meets the first Wednesday of every month from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Location: PeaceHealth Medical Group, Cordata Main Conference Room, located at 4545 Cordata Parkway at the corner of Horton Road
