Most evaluations and advanced imaging services are performed locally in our diagnostics department. Medical imaging provided at PeaceHealth Peace Island includes:

Imaging exams are read by specialists at Mt. Baker Imaging in Bellingham, using the most advanced tele-radiology equipment.
3D Mammography™
Diagnostic Imaging offers the Holgics Genius™ 3D Mammography technology. This exam provides earlier breast cancer detection. It's more accurate, provides clearer images and is the only mammogram FDA approved as superior for women with dense breast tissue.
The 3D exam can be combined with the Soft Touch and SoftCurve technologies for improved patient comfort. Please call 360-788-6345 to schedule your appointment.
Soft Touch Mammogram
The Soft Touch Mammogram is a single-use, adhesive-backed foam cushion that attaches to the compression plates of the mammography device. The recyclable breast cushion is invisible to x-rays and does not interfere with the mammogram image quality.
