COVID-19: Vaccines, boosters, testing, and visitor guidelines. Please use ER for emergencies only.

As you may be aware, many local businesses are facing staffing challenges – and local pharmacies are no exception. These developments are seriously impacting patients’ access to needed medications. Many community members are experiencing wait times for prescriptions of at least a week or more.

Action you can take to help avoid delays

You can reduce the risk of delays in obtaining prescriptions from your community pharmacy by requesting refills seven to 10 days before you run out of your medication. You also can discuss mail-order prescription program options with your insurance or healthcare provider. Please keep in mind that wait times for new prescriptions will be varied and unpredictable; please discuss options with your physician when they prescribe you a new medication.

Our No. 1 priority is the safety and well-being of our patients. As valued patients and community members, PeaceHealth is here to guide you through these challenges to ensure you have access to much-needed medications.

  • Prior to scheduling an appointment: If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms of possible infection, please notify us when you schedule an appointment and before you arrive. If you’re having a medical emergency, call 911.
  • Bring a mask: For everyone's safety, masks are required in all PeaceHealth facilities regardless of vaccination status.
