Richard was born to Ellis and Helen Snodgrass. He was raised primarily in the Pacific Northwest. He loved nothing more than cars and motorsports but could often be found fishing, camping, doing house projects or just staying busy with his family and friends. He enjoyed working and laughing. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael, his mother Helen, his father Ellis, his sister Virginia and his step-mother Alice. He is survived by his brother Stan, his sister Susan, his sister Carol and his three children, Richard Jr., Dana and Dawn. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews and a wealth of family and friends. His fight with cancer was brief and painful and we are grateful that we had the gift of time to spend with him.
