Peggy Ann Farnell was born on January 2, 1947, in San Diego. 

She lived a life marked by deep faith, love, and devotion to her family. She met her husband, Charlie, while attending Fresno State University, and they were married in June of 1966. Their marriage was characterized by a lifelong partnership centered on faith and commitment to God and family. Together, they raised five children, who all married, and her legacy continued to grow to include 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, each of whom she loved dearly. 

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: books, crafts, tiny keepsakes, teacups, smiley faces, and the thrill of finding a good deal. Whether shopping, creating, or spending time with family, she had a special way of making everyday moments feel meaningful and special. 

Above all, she loved the Lord. Her life was rooted in His Word, His promises, and singing hymns of praise. She faithfully cared for her family and pointed others to Christ through her words and her example. She loved to pray Romans 15:13 over her friends and family: “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” 

Her life was a reflection of hope, love, and quiet strength, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
