The VINE system is a free system where crime victims can confirm an offender is still in custody 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. HSI administers a Victim Notification Program which allows eligible victims and witnesses to obtain reliable, timely information regarding a criminal alien's release from custody. Victims and witnesses are required to register with ICE in order to receive notification.
