PeaceHealth Southwest awards Health Career Scholarships

PeaceHealth Southwest Foundation has awarded $51,500 in scholarships to 30 students to help them further their studies in health care. The scholarship winners are all either high school or college students who volunteer their time at PeaceHealth Southwest, or current caregivers. The scholarships are funded through donations from PeaceHealth caregivers, volunteers, and our generous community.

And the winners are:
Cy Jackson ($2000) junior volunteer from Seton Catholic High School, attend Washington State University majoring in nursing or pre-med.
Irene Bibian ($1500) junior volunteer from Columbia River High School, will attend Western Washington University as a pre-med student.
Giselle Aschoff ($1500) PeaceHealth caregiver attending Western Governors University, majoring in nursing.
Ruixuan Bai ($1500) volunteer at PeaceHealth studying nursing at Clark College.
Kayla Maiden ($2000) PeaceHealth caregiver attending Boise State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Katherine Olennikov ($3000) PeaceHealth caregiver attending George Fox University to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. 
Hannah Han ($1500) volunteer attending Washington State University Vancouver, studying to become a pharmacist.
Erick Videira ($1500) volunteer attending Washington State University Vancouver as a pre-med student.
Alison Aske ($1500) junior volunteer graduating from Heritage High School and Clark College, pursuing a nursing degree at Linfield College.
Ahmed Sheeti ($1500) volunteer attending Portland State University as a pre-med student.
Abbigal Wong ($1500) junior volunteer from Camas High School, will attend the University of Puget Sound to become a physical therapist.
Veronica Cortez ($1500) is a PeaceHealth Medical Group Caregiver, attending Clark College pursuing a degree in nursing.
Savannah Colletto ($1500) junior volunteer from Camas High School and Clark College, will attend Whitworth University to become a physical therapist.
Anthony Phung ($1500) volunteer attending Washington State University Vancouver to become a radiologist.
Alyson Alexander ($1500) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Grand Canyon University pursuing a Masters in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education.
Michael Swain ($2000) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Chamberlain University pursuing a Masters in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Erika Alanis ($2000) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Boise State University pursuing a degree in nursing.
Ella Ignatovich ($2000) is a caregiver attending Western Governors University pursuing a degree in nursing.
Misty Ortiz ($2000) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Gonzaga University pursuing a Masters in Nursing with an emphasis in Health Systems Leadership.
Enoch Tsai ($1500) junior volunteer from Mountain View high School will be attending UCLA to pursue a degree in public health.MaShelle Scott ($1500) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Western Governors University, pursuing a degree in nursing.
Kelly White ($1500) is a PeaceHealth caregiver pursuing a Masters in Nursing with the intention to become a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health.
Irina Panova Proctor ($2000) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Western Governors University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.D’Andra Young ($1500) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Sumner college, majoring in nursing.
Baochau Tran ($1500) is a volunteer attending the University of Washington as a pre-med student.
Sunny Perkins ($1500) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Western Governors University.  pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Management.
Diana Hooghkirk ($1500) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Lower Columbia College pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Sanjeet Singh ($1500) is a junior volunteer graduating from Heritage High School, and will attend Central Washington University majoring in psychology.
Christina Vandelden ($1500) is a PeaceHealth caregiver attending Clark College pursuing a degree in radiology.
Olivia Murray Ceriello ($3000) is graduating from Mountain View High School and is attending Pacific University where she will be a pre-med student. Olivia earned The Sarina Slaid Scholarship given in memory of Sarina Slaid, a student from Mountain View High School who was also a volunteer at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Sarina died in 1987, and this scholarship was created to honor her memory.
