Neurologist David Morris, MD, to provide care in Sedro-Woolley

Sedro-Woolley, Wash. – David Morris, MD, has joined PeaceHealth Medical Group as a neurologist at its Family Medicine Clinic at 2061 Hospital Drive, Sedro-Woolley. Dr. Morris is a general adult neurologist with specialized training in electroencephalography (EEG), epilepsy, electromyography (EMG) and neuromuscular disorders. This is the first time that PeaceHealth has offered neurology services in Skagit County.

Prior to joining PeaceHealth, Dr. Morris practiced as a neurologist in Mount Vernon for 28 years. He believes that the provider-patient relationship is key to proper diagnosis and treatment. He states, “A major tenet of my medical philosophy is to take time to listen to the patient. It is a privilege to work with patients in a joint effort to optimize their health.”

Dr. Morris is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, and his neurology residency and internship at University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Additionally, he completed sequential fellowships in EMG/neuromuscular disorders and EEG/epilepsy at the University of North Carolina in Chap Hill, North Carolina.
