Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT)

Digital breast tomosynthesis (say "toh-moh-SIN-thuh-suss") is a test used for breast cancer screening. It uses X-rays to create a three-dimensional image of the breast.

This test, sometimes called DBT or 3-D mammogram, may be used along with a regular mammogram.
