Exercise Sessions

Our exercise sessions are tailored to meet your needs and abilities. Each session is individualized to gently build your endurance and strength.

Our equipment is designed to meet the needs of all levels of function. With supervision from our highly trained staff, we will instruct and progress you safely.

By monitoring our patients’ heart rate and rhythm, blood pressure, and other vital signs, we can help you and your health care providers evaluate your progress on the path to improved cardiac health.

Supervised Exercise Program

The Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute at Sacred Heart Medical Center offers a long-term, supervised exercise program as part of Cardiovascular Wellness & Rehabilitation. This program provides ongoing exercise in a familiar, comfortable and medically supervised environment. The gym is open Monday through Friday, from 7am to 7pm. Group exercise classes—such as Tai Chi, yoga, and Qi Gong—are available throughout the week. It’s a great way to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle!

The program is open to anyone interested in managing their cardiovascular health. A provider referral is required. The program costs around $43.50/month and is billed in 3-month increments. It is not typically covered by insurance.

Support Groups

After you have completed cardiac rehabilitation, our staff is still available to provide ongoing help and support on an individual basis.
