Education and Support

Educational Seminars

Our educational seminars are designed to guide you through heart-healthy lifestyle changes. Seminar time provides you with knowledge about your disease and recovery as well as with the support and camaraderie of people experiencing similar physical and emotional changes.

Each seminar covers topics pertinent to your lifestyle such as stress reduction, medications and exercise prescription. Education sessions are typically coupled with an exercise session in order to optimize your time with us. We strongly encourage family and loved ones to join you during these seminars. If you are unable to join us, you can view recorded seminars below.

Supervised Exercise Program

After you have graduated from outpatient rehabilitation, our supervised exercise program is available for you to maintain your heart-healthy lifestyle. This program includes supervised open gym times and group exercise classes such as Tai Chi and group exercise.

Support Groups

After you have completed cardiac rehabilitation, our staff is still available to provide ongoing help and support on an individual basis. If a formal support group interests you, our Caring Hearts group meets every month. This is a time for discussion and reflection about your changing lifestyle. There is no fee for this group meeting.
