The Acute Rehabilitation Center at PeaceHealth United General Medical Center is a 10-bed unit offering physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy services. Our expert caregivers offer compassionate care in a facility with a wide range of modern equipment.

We offer medical services that treat the following and other related conditions:

• Strokes
• Amputations
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Non-traumatic Brain Injuries
• Non-traumatic Spinal Cord Injuries
• Orthopedic Polytrauma
• Joint and Spinal Surgeries

Additional services offered, but are not limited to, include:

• Blood Transfusions
• IV Fluids/Medications
• PEG Tube Feedings
• Drains
• Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Oxygen Treatments

Facility Highlights

Our home-like environment includes a comfortable patient dining area, activity room and therapy gym. It also includes an "activities of daily living" (ADL) bedroom area that reproduces the experience of living at home.

Our therapists guide patients through one-on-one daily therapy. Daily physician visits and thorough education, plus customized therapy treatment plans, help patients regain their ability to return home.

Our Team

Our team is led by a medical director specially trained in rehabilitation, includes certified rehabilitation registered nurses, physical/occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, and social workers. Each is committed to restoring independence and quality of life for patients who have suffered a major injury or illness.
