COVID-19 and Vaccine Information
Masks are required in some healthcare settings.
In critical care medicine, the environment is very important in helping with the patient’s recovery. St. John’s new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides 18 state-of-the-art critical care rooms, equipped with the very latest life-saving equipment. All of the equipment is mounted on two large boom arms that can easily be moved aside, ensuring the ICU space remains open and uncluttered.
The new rooms also feature lots of glass, light, and hardwood-styled floors.
At times ICU patients are so ill that they cannot be moved from ICU to the Operating Room. Because the ICU rooms are self-contained, physicians can perform vital procedures right in the ICU.
