Norma Ruth Yeager (née Hildahl)
Norma Yeager, born Norma Hildahl, in Roseau Minnesota, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She grew up in Minnesota, raised alongside her three sisters and brother, forming close bonds that remained important throughout her life.
As a young woman, Norma had an adventurous soul and moved to Yakima, Washington where she met her soon-to-be husband, Richard. They shared a long and devoted marriage until Richard’s passing in 2015.
Together, Norma and Richard raised their children, mostly in Bothell, Washington, before later moving to Minnesota to be closer to their grandchildren. They also spent many cherished retirement years in Mesa, Arizona.
She was a proud and loving mother to her son, George, and daughter, Janis, and a caring presence in the life of her stepson, Dick and stepdaughter, Carole. Carole preceded Norma in death, and she carried her memory with love.
Norma also led a strong and accomplished career in accounting. She was known for her reliability, integrity, and attention to detail, earning the respect of colleagues and those who relied on her steady expertise throughout her professional life.
A devoted Christian, Norma’s faith guided her life. She was active in her church and lived her beliefs through kindness, service, and quiet compassion.
Family was always at the center of Norma’s world, and she found great joy in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dearly loved nieces and nephews. Norma also enjoyed quilting, traveling, and spending time with those she held dear.
She will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the quiet strength that defined her life.
