Michael Skare, PA-C, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Family Medicine team of providers in October 2018. Prior to joining PeaceHealth, Michael served patients at Suttons Bay Medical Clinic, in Suttons Bay, Michigan. Michael’s medical interests run the gamut in family medicine, including diabetes, depression, asthma, non-stimulant management of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), arthritis, obesity, heart disease, high cholesterol and thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, acute and chronic pain and gender-affirming care. “I work with compassion to empower patients with the tools they need to fight disease through education, while working with them to find the least-invasive plan they can adhere to within the guidelines set by medical literature,” he said. In his free time, Michael enjoys an active lifestyle that involves mountain biking, backcountry snowboarding, rock climbing, and hiking with his dog. His more sedentary interests include cooking and playing video games.
