Susan R. Brown MD

We welcomed Susan Brown, MD, to the PeaceHealth Peace Island Emergency Medicine team of providers in 2020. Dr. Brown came to PeaceHealth from MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where she served as an attending physician in the Emergency Department as well as an assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Her interdisciplinary trauma experience includes ten years at a level one trauma center and teaching hospital. She is a seasoned mentor. Dr. Brown’s general emergency medicine practice includes the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention for patients of all ages. Dr. Brown has relocated to Friday Harbor from Ohio with her mother, husband, daughter and three unruly dogs! Outside of the clinical setting, she enjoys reading, cooking, hiking and traveling.
