Stuart A. Jacobson MD

Dr. Jacobson is an interventional cardiologist at Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute. He specializes in procedures that restore blood flow to the heart.

He focuses on complex blockages. He also does peripheral artery procedures. Whenever possible, he accesses these arteries through the wrist instead of the groin. This often means less discomfort and faster recovery for patients.

Dr. Jacobson holds several board certifications. These include interventional cardiology, heart disease and heart imaging. Dr. Jacobson also has training in advanced methods to clear blocked arteries. These credentials show his commitment to all aspects of heart health.

He came to PeaceHealth from Texas. His experience there included training at top programs such as the University of Texas and Baylor College. He then went on to lead heart care programs at Memorial Hermann and Houston Methodist hospitals.

Dr. Jacobson is fluent in Spanish. He also speaks conversational French. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys cycling, photography and spending time with family.
