Stan D. Atkin MD

Stan Atkin, MD, joined PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend as a hospitalist in 2023. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. “The most important single act I can perform as a physician is to listen," he says. "One of the strongest human desires is to be heard and seen, and we cannot mend by medicine alone.” He enjoys hiking, swimming and other outdoor activities with his kids and dog. He is also an avid reader and baker.
