Biography

Dr. Li is a board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, with special interests in acute coronary syndrome, stable ischemic heart disease, peripheral artery disease, critical limb ischemia, pacemaker implantation, and nuclear medicine. He has done extensive research on comprehensive Interventional Cardiology and had published peer reviewed articles on contrast induced nephropathy.

“Interventional Cardiology is very intense, fast-paced and demands critical thinking. The field is unique in that we can acutely intervene in a patient suffering from heart attack, save their life, get them back to their road of recovery and discharge relatively quickly in most cases. My goal is to provide the best care and treatment to patients in Vancouver and surrounding areas using evidence-based guidance,” he said.

In his free time, Dr. Li enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, chess and biking with his son and daughter.
