Biography

Richard Skillen, PA-C, is a licensed physician assistant.

Richard specializes in interventional cardiology. His focus is on stroke prevention. He also practices guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT).

Richard practiced at Lee Physician Group Cardiology in Fort Myers, Fla. There, he managed both inpatient and outpatient care.

Richard has a Master of Science in physician assistant studies. He graduated from Mary Baldwin University in Fishersville, VA. Prior to earning his PA degree, Richard served as a first responder and EMT. Richard also spent two years volunteering with the Navajo Nation.

In his free time, Richard enjoys hiking, kayaking and paddleboarding.
