Rachel M. Wyner PAC

Rachel Wyner, PA, has joined the cardiology unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend.

Wyner earned her master of medical science in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University, and gained clinical experience in cardiology from the Mayo Clinic Hospital.

She discovered her interest in cardiology while in school, and saw a growing need for additional caregivers with that expertise.

“I’ve always been interested in a career that’s fulfilling to me,” Wyner said. “One way to do that is by helping others.”

“My goal is to lead with compassion,” Wyner added. “I want to provide a space where patients can feel heard, and I can offer my knowledge to help them take an active role in managing their health. I am motivated in my work knowing I can help people live their best life.”

Patient education is important to Wyner, who said she wants to meet patients where they are at and help them better understand factors affecting their health.

When not at work, Wyner enjoys staying active by running, hiking and rock climbing, as well as going to concerts, reading and spending time with her wife.
