Rachel Bishop, MD, is board-certified in Family Practice with an interest in pediatrics and travel medicine. She earned her medical degree in the United Kingdom and then spent five years working in India and Nepal, initially with Tibetan refugees and then with the Sherpa in the Himalayas.
Following her service overseas, Dr. Bishop came to the United States and completed a family medicine residency at Group Health in Seattle. She has been living and working in the San Juan Islands since 2008.
Dr. Bishop speaks English, "American" and French. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing music with her family, "The Crow Valley String Band."
