Ling Jin MD

Dr. Jin is a heart specialist at Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute. She focuses on heart muscle conditions such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac amyloidosis.

Dr. Jin chose to go into heart care because of the field's rapid advances. She stays current with the latest cardiology treatments and tools to help her patients get the best possible care.

She believes in partnering with her patients throughout their care. "My goal is to work together with my patients to make informed, shared decisions about their health," she says.

Dr. Jin earned her medical degree from Shanghai Medical College at Fudan University. She then came to the United States for further study in internal medicine, heart failure and cardiovascular disease. This included fellowships in Massachusetts and Florida. She also completed advanced training at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

Dr. Jin speaks English and Mandarin. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and Pilates.
