Obstetrics and Gynecology
Lindsay Emerick, MD, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Bellingham OB-GYN team of providers in September 2018. Dr. Emerick has special interests in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, adolescent gynecology, high risk obstetrics and breastfeeding medicine.
Dr. Emerick believes it is a privilege to take care of women from adolescence through menopause and is motivated by forming meaningful relationships with patients through the various stages of their lives. Her most recent research focused on a trial of labor after a previous cesarean section.
“I aim to empower women to reach their wellness goals through compassion, patient education and shared decision-making,” she said.
Dr. Emerick has volunteered in many capacities and is committed to caring for vulnerable populations. This has included providing prenatal services to pregnant homeless women; conducting routine health maintenance exams and offering health education for the homeless; and setting up free clinics in underserved communities and rural villages as an international volunteer in Southeast Asia.
A Bellingham native, Dr. Emerick is thrilled to serve in her home community. She loves spending her free time outdoors with her husband, their twin daughters and the family dog. Their family enjoys hiking, swimming and visiting local parks.
